Bert and Donna Houle purchased 17 acres of land in 1978 with a simple goal: to create a campground where families could relax and enjoy each other's company.
Around 1997, the family decided to expand, acquiring the second house you see at the top of the hill, which used to be Greg's house, and an additional 7 acres of land.
This marked the birth of the "New Section," exclusively designed for seasonal trailers.
Today, daughters Sue and Lori, along with their husbands Rob and George, manage the campground.
During the summer of 2024, Caitlyn and Jason, Sue's daughter and son-in-law, officially joined the family business.
Our family’s goal remains the same, to provide a friendly well maintained vacation retreat for families to enjoy for generations to come!
With the help of their son Greg, a dump truck, backhoe, and a dream, they slowly built the "Old Section" which took over five years to complete. By 1983, they opened the campground with just a few sites.
